Just For You!

It would be so nice to sit back and relax on a hammock in the sun such as our little Bee friend here.  Well you can relax with Digital Delights because Wendy has all the images you need to make all kinds of cards and projects.

I didn't have an daisy's to go with this card so I punched a few petals out with EK Success Retro Flower and added a little EK Success flower in yellow to the centre.  I wet them with a spray bottle so that I could shape them a bit.

Card Recipe

    Getting Ready for Mother's Day

The theme this week over at Creative Craft Challenges is "Mother's Day" so I made a card with this lovely Tilda.  She kinda made me think of my grand daughter Jade who always likes to bring me flowers.

Mom's, butterflies and flowers go together nicely, I think!

    Image: Magnolia
    Paper: Eggplant, Kaiser Kraft
    Markers/Inks: Copics, Distress Milled Lavendar
Embellishments: Spellbinders Label 18, Sizzix butterfly die, MS Leaf punch, Michael's flowers, Wild Orchid lace

She looks like a fairy princess

Craft a Scene March - Tropical Shores

Our theme for the month of March at Craft a Scene is tropical shores.  Our finished tropical creations should have beach, water, palm trees - that sort of thing.

For my card I used a variety of stamps from Art Impressions, Stampscapes and Coronado Island, as well as an old company from my California days - Love You To Bits.

I am still working on learning water coloring with the Ranger Distress Pens and finding it fun and challenging to keep the color where I want it without getting splotchy.  I added white gel pen to the water for movement.

    Card Recipe
Images: Stampscapes birds and ferns, the islands are from Love You To Bits (Redwood City, CA), palms are from Art Impressions and the dolphin school is Coronado Island.
Paper: SU Early Espresso, Bazzill Teal
    Markers/Ink: Ranger Distress pens watercolored
Embellishments: Starfish, Spellbinders label die, Prima pearls, white gel pen
