Dog Days of Summer Challenge at Digital Delights

Join us this week at Delightful Challenges for 
"The Dog Days of Summer". 

When I think of any kind of summer vacation I think of getting more time to read.  When my husband and I go away, I usually take two or three books with me, and while we are lounging on the beach, I am reading.

So this week I made a bookmark with Scrubbie Ted to help mark my place in a book. Since it is so colorful it should spark conversation about card making with my lounge chair neighbor.


Card Recipe:

DD Stamps: Scrubbie Ted and Just Chillin Sentiment Set
CS and Papers: SU Melon Mambo, Basic Grey Out of Print Lithograph
Markers: Copics - E23, E33, #57, R20, G14, Y06, R35, Distress Tea Dye
Access. and Embellishments: Prima Flowers, ribbon, SU Pearls, Sizzlits Little Leave, Spellbinders Label Four
Special Techniques: Bookmark

    This is such a lovely idea, the book mark is sooo pretty, too nice to use really. My husband always takes plenty of books when we go away, maybe I should make him a book mark, but it would have to have a tank on it. lol Thanks for joining us at Craft-Room Challenge.

    I love the idea of a bookmark! I am usually a card maker, but why not create something pretty for your books too? Love the idea and the beautiful colors you've used!
