Mother and Child

Today we announced the winners of the first challenge over at Craft a Scene.  With so many wonderful scenes to choose from, it was difficult to select just three.  Hop over to Craft a Scene and have a look and don't forget to leave a little love for the winners.


My card today features more of the new stamps I purchased from Sutter and Repeat Impressions. I wanted to feature the Whitetail Doe and Fawn (4218W) somehow and I think the Spill (G-1708) and Grand Teton Reflections (H-1629) does the trick.


This project was an effort in masking to make all the images stay where they belonged.  The bottom of the Grand Tetons fit perfectly as the top of the Spill.  I added the Stampscapes Tree Trunk Trio (088F) to frame it all in. The Our Daily Bread Designs Scripture Collection 6 added just the sentiment I needed.

Embellishments: Eyelet Outlet Brad Deer Head, Craft Ribbon

    Such a clever card with lots of gorgeous detailed colouring to the scene. The deer at the front look so sweet, well worth all the effort in making.

    Oh my word Nancy this is quite beautiful, I love all animals and these deer look so lovely especially in that wonderful natural scene, so much beauty here and that verse is a perfect touch.
