Welcome to My Patio Garden

When I look at my patio these days I see my containers of budding flowers and greenery.  I planted them just a few weeks ago to give my deck some color.  Soon they will be overflowing with mature flowers.  My creation this week for the new Craft a Scene theme, "Inside the Garden" uses Art Impressions stamps and Tombow watercolor markers.

Incidentally, this lovely lace is direct from Bulgaria.  I purchased it from my friends Anne and Steve Thomson at their store, Stamprs in Victoria, BC.  Anne's roots are in Bulgaria and she recently visited her long lost family there.  When she returned she had the most beautiful laces that she put in her store.

Card Recipe
Images: Art Impressions
Paper: Stampin Up Garden Green, Glitz paper pack
Markers/Ink: Tombow markers and water
Embellishments: Wild Orchid flowers, Really Reasonable Ribbon, Lace from Bulgaria, Spellbinders Circle and Scalloped Circle dies.

Challenges for this card:

Have a great Sunday!

  9. Good Morning Nancy

Super use of the AI stamps and all inspired by your decking pots. Ours are beginning to overflow, must be all that British rain.

I immediately spied that lovely lace and the origin does not surprise me at all. I always come back from vacation with a stash as the shops on the Continent always have so much variety and at a fraction of the cost here.

Thanks so much for sharing your 'Summer Blooms' with us at Penny Black and More this month and also Allsorts 'In Bloom' theme this week.

Hope you will join in with more of your lovely work in the future
