Craft a Scene Theme - Realistic Forest Animals

Hi all!  It is Sunday again and I am here with my card for the new theme over a Craft a Scene - Realistic Forest Animals.  We are making scenic cards with a bit of forest and at least one animal found in the forest.

My animal is the brown bear and we have lots of them here on Vancouver Island.  I saw one cross the road a few weeks ago just as I drove past he sauntered across the highway behind me.

I used Stampscapes images for most of the scene and Mark's Finest Papers for the bear and sentiment.


Card Recipe
Images: Stampscapes, Mark's Finest Papers Heinrich Collection
Paper: Cryogen White, Kraft Black, Whisper White 
Markers/Ink: Momento Black, PanPastels, a little Copic highlighting

    A grogeous scene Nancy, and the bear is fantastic. I would not like to come face to face with him, but it must be wonderful to see these animals in the wild.

    Reminds me of my son's favorite Dr. Suess book - Big brown bear, blowing bubbles, biking backwards.....
    My son is now 37 and everyone in our house knows that whole book by heart!
    Beautiful scene, nicely colored.
