Wise Men Still Seek Him - Even the Snow Type!

Making a holiday card with non-traditional colors is tougher than it seems.  This is what we are trying to do over at Love to Create with MelJens images.

For my card I used Meljens Christmas Star Snowman.  I tried to add ribbons, lace and such but nothing I tried looked right.  So I ended up with something a little different for me - CAS.

I did add a little Stickles to the hat on the rim and the pom-pom.

Things with Wings - Love to Create Challenge

My card this week for Love to Create Challenge is for our theme of "Things with Wings".  This cute little image from MelJens is perfect for this challenge and makes up into a quick and simple boys birthday card.  

It is also pretty cool because my 10 year old grandson was gifted with a glider ride for his birthday yesterday.

Spots and Dots at Love to Create

I stepped out of my comfort zone and made a different shape card and even added Distress Tea Dye to the flowers to help them look a little more vintage.
