Popcorn Anyone?

Digital Delights has fabulous new Movie Night images!  My card features Movie Night Mickey Monkey and the best news is - he is only $2.

I made my card using designer paper from the BoBunny Key Lime collection, a bit of burlap and a wood button.  I added Ranger Glossy Accents to the glasses for a great reflection.

His Royal Highness - Ooh!

Well, he will be His Royal Highness once you kiss him on the nose!

This cute royal frog made its way to my card when the nose trick did not work.  I used the Mojo Monday sketch as my guide and the super cute BoBunny Little Monster Collection paper.

Wishing You a Speedy Recovery!

This little character is the perfect image to make a "get well" card. The Ouch Sweeney Set comes with a sentiment and bandage paper. I tried to make the card more for a boy or man.

Craft a Scene April Challenge - Hills and Mountains

I made this card for the Craft a Scene challenge of Hills and Mountains.  I used a Sutter stamp for the Castle (I have been wanting to make a card with that stamp!!!) and several Stampscapes stamps.

I have been using PanPastel chalk when making my scenes because it covers so nicely and I can blend easily.  I am afraid the picture doesn't do the color justice.

Card Recipe

Paper:  Bazzill, Cryogen White
Markers/Ink: PanPastels and a little bit of Copics

BoBunny Pop-up Card and Box

Hi Everyone!

Today I made another pop-up box card using my tutorial from last November when I was the Monday Hostess for Digital Delights.

This time I used the beautiful papers from the BoBunny Primrose collection.

As you know the pop-up box folds down into a flat card that it can be mailed in a regular envelop. I made a special box so that I could hand deliver the card to a friend.

As you can see I cut out a lot of butterflies and glued them to toothpicks for attaching to the hidden runners inside the box.

I made my own flowers using the EK Success Retro Flower punches and held them together with Michael's brads.

Check out the tutorial and make one of these using your favorite papers!

Bon Voyage Noah!

This is a going-away card for a friend who is on his way to a warmer spot for a few months.  It is a cheeky take on Noah and the Ark.  Yes, I saw the movie.  There were parts I thought were entertaining and parts I wished were different - just like every other movie I have ever seen.

Have you seen the new images from Wendy at Digital Delights - they are sooooo cute!

The card base is a side step card.  You can find a tutorial on Split Coast Stampers.

Markers/Ink: Copics, Distress Inks
