We're Having a Whale of a Time!

We are having a fun time!  The weather has been on and off, sun then rain.  There has been just enough sun to actually go to the beach for a picnic.  The grand kids made a driftwood fort to keep out of the wind.

I was inspired by the day at the beach and decided to make a card based on that theme, so my card for Digital Delights this week features a special little whale.

The paper bits are torn into the shape I needed for each element.

Card Recipe:
Images: Digital Delights Whale of a Time Sentiment, Whale
Paper: Michael's Color Sheets - Seaside, SU So Safron, craft brown and green scraps
Markers/Ink: Distress Tea Dye, Copics - B02, B04, B06

Challenges for this card:

Be sure and take a look at what the wonderful Design Team has come up with for your inspiration.  And then hop over to the Delightful Challenges site and check out this weeks challenge.

Have a great day!

this is certainly a whale of a card, just love all the paper piecing and the cute whale image, just lovely.

Looks like you grand kids had an awesome time at the beach although it was cold.

Thanks so much for entering your card at Anything goes, Just keep on creating. I hope you will continue to share your work :)
