It's All About Baby's!

I have another baby card to share and this time it is for a boy.    I used this great Simple Stories paper.


When I glued down the flowery strip I left the top section unglued so that I could slip in the two tags.

Just Tangling Along

I haven't posted much here about my Zentangle creations because Crafting Passions is mostly about my cards, design team work and other paper crafts.  Well, I like Zentangle enough that I decided to create a blog just for my work in that art/craft area - Just Tangling Along - hop over and take a look.

I thought I might need the separate blog because I am going to start entering the challenges over at The Diva and the Zendala Dare.  When I finally get into the CZT course I will be certified to teach and will post information about classes and such there as well.

Well my BIG news today (other than introducing you to my new blog) is that I made it into the November CZT course!!!!!!!  I am really excited and looking forward to meeting founders Rick and Maria and learning more about Zentangle.  It will be quite the trek to get from Vancouver Island to Providence Road Island but I am ready to delve deeper into the world of Zentangle.

I thought you might like to see what I have been working on lately.

Have a Fabulous Day!

I just love this Sunflower image from Digital Delights.  I made this card in honor of my mother's birthday this week.  She loved sunflowers!  I sent the card to my brother as a pick-me-up and because we both like to find ways to remember mom.

Bee Happy!

I bought some new die cuts from Memory Box and Impression Obsession this week.  I have been having fun designing different cards with all the extra fun.

 I think this one is my favorite using Digital Delights Bumble Bee Larry and Memory Box Orchard Tree Frame.

I printed off Larry, colored him with my Copics and then dabbed in the sky with Adarondack Aqua and a sponge dauber.  I also added flicks of grass with the Copic markers around Larry.

 I used my Cuttle Bug to cut out the tree and lots of leaves.  I added dimension to the leaves by embossing them with my large round ball stylus  After gluing all the leaves on I was ready to assemble my card.

Markers/Ink: Copics, Adarondack Aqua on the sky and Meadow under the grass.
Embellishments: Memory Box Orchard Tree Frame, Impression Obsession dies, BoBunny Ribbon, Sizzix Butterfly die, Wild Orchid flowers, MS Leaf punch

Creepy and Spooky!

Well, thanks to the wonderful Wendy over at Digital Delights I have my Halloween fix satisfied.  I made this card with the brand new Headless Harry and Spooky Sayings.

Craft a Scene - Dusk to Dawn Challenge

I have a card today for the Craft a Scene Dusk to Dawn challenge. I used all Stampscapes stamps from the new collection.  

I colored the cabin, trees and grasses with Copics and then filled in the sky and water with 2 different PanPastel blues.  Then I added a bit of black PanPastel around the edges to help create the idea that it is night-time.
