Trees, Trees, Trees - Craft a Scene Challenge

I have a card for the new Trees, Trees, Trees challenge over at Craft a Scene.  I used all Stampscapes stamps for my quiet waters, misty scene.

I love camping and hiking in the woods!  It is not uncommon to be out walking in the early morning and see the mist hover above a stream or lake as the sun rises between the trees.

I stamped the background trees, rocks, water (051G) image then added a bit of rippling water with the 305C stamp.  Next I added lots of swamp grass and of course the birds in flight. The wonderful sentiment is from Our Daily Bread.

I colored the scene with PanPastels and then added White Brilliance ink on a cotton swab tip to form the mist.

Card Recipe

Wow, this is really lovely! I've been shown how to do the stampscapes scenes, but have yet to try them. You make it look easy, although I know it is not! Thank you for joining our challenge at Soartful, I hope we see you again!

Really beautiful card Nancy, thank you for sharing with us at All Dressed Up, but I am afraid that in order to enter you need to use one of our images so I have had to remove your entry x
