Daisies Anyone?

I had to make another Spring creation with the new Bouquet Daisy Set from Digital Delights.  Yes, "had to"!  The sun was shinning and my daffodils are just starting to show a bit of yellow.

Daisy is so lovely in her hat, she looks ready to go visit Grandma!

Of course, that is what I would be thinking because I have several grand daughters.

You Stole My Heart!

There is someone in my life who stole my heart about 37 years ago and he still has it!  Yes, it is my dear hubby, Dave.  This card is for him.  Yes, I know it is a bit girly, but he likes the cards I make even when they have sparkle and flowers.

This one has lots of layers with the gorgeous Chanteuse Collection papers from Kaiser Craft.

Card Recipe
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Kaiser Craft - Chanteuse Collection
Markers/Ink: Copics, Distress Vintage Photo

Hello Sunshine!

My card this week features this cute Flower Power Daisy.  Wendy over at Digital Delights has made several of these wonderful spring flower girls.

This was a simple card to make.  I just printed out Flower Power Daisy and the sentiment.  The coloring was easy and then I used a Spellbinders die to cut the image shape.  I left the paper in the die and used Distress ink on a sponge to add color around the image, and this technique also leaves a white edge as a frame.

Paper: SU Dafodill, Spring Fling Papers
Markers/Ink: Copics, Distress Scattered Straw
Embellishments: Spellbinders dies, lace, CraftSmart Ribbon, Prima flower, SU flower brad
