Sitting Valetine with Flowers

Today I made a new card with my Magnolia chair.  I have had this stamp for a a few months and was wondering what I should do with it.  I ended up waiting until I found a sitting Tilda!

I am very happy how this card turned out.  My friend Sarah showed me how to make the flowers using her Sizzix 3-D Flowers die.  They are sooo easy and turned out beautifully.  I used some mulberry paper for the dark red flowers and a companion (to the background paper) print paper for the pink one.

The punches are Martha Stewart (white lace), Punch Bunch (leaves) and Fiscars (red border).  The little pearls are from Stampin UP and the big pearl flourish is from Prima.

I used copics to color - Y00, Y02 and Y06 for the dress, and R30, R32, R35 and R37 for the red part of the chair.  I followed a post from Debbie Olsen's blog for the red coloring. The arms of the chair are E33, E35, E37 and E47.

Thanks for reading my blog.  Please leave a note so that I know you stopped by.
